Shirisha Janumpally, MD

Dr. Shirisha Janumpally is board-certified in both Sleep Medicine and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Janumpally completed her internship in internal medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, followed by a neurology residency and sleep medicine fellowship at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Medical Center. She subsequently served as a Sleep Medicine Attending Physician and Assistant Professor of Neurology at UCI Medical Center.
Her research focused on dopamine agonists used in the treatment of restless leg syndrome and their association with impulse control behavior disorders. Her clinical practice emphasizes sleep-related breathing disorders, parasomnias, and circadian rhythm disorders.
Dr. Janumpally grew up in Southern California, attended medical school at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, and returned to Southern California for her residency and fellowship training.
